Film is considered to be an important art form, a source of popular entertainment. The visual elements of cinema give motion pictures a universal power of communication; some movies have even become popular worldwide attractions, from the effects, makeup, and character design.  Film and television makeup can be one of the most challenging and creative fields in makeup artistry.  It requires skill, knowledge, quick thinking and major problem solving beyond those of traditional fashion makeup artists.

This course consists of a lecture/demonstration format and places heavy emphasis on hands-on education.  You will be working with our fellow motivated learners as a team.  You will experience both sides of the makeup chair, so you may better understand your talents needs.  Our 12-week program is the definitive course of study for those serious about pursuing a career in the most creative field of makeup.
